GOPers send in the heavyweights & others . . .

The GOPers are working overtime to help John 'wannabe something" Kennedy in his attempt to unseat Mary Landrieu. National GOP working for La. candidate for Senate - AP News - NOLA.com After the Rasputin to the Bushies decided Johnny was their best hope in Louisiana, they first sent The Decided hisself down, but even Lil'Bobby knew that was just pissin' in the wind. So now they're sending the heavy weights into the Gret State. According to the AP, via the T-P, "Republican John Kennedy's campaign coffers got a boost Thursday with a fundraising visit by first lady Laura Bush, in the latest move by a GOP heavyweight to support the U.S. Senate candidate". No doubt this movement to send foreign heavy weights into the Louisiana Senate race is just the beginning of a broader movement to enlist heavyweights of whatever ilk in support of Kennedy . . . This could be the start of sumpin' big . . .

And it seems to also attract some of the sworn to serve Bush loyalists from the Whitehouse crowd . . . All hand-picked, like John Neely Kennedy by Herr Karl Rove . . .

Events like this always seem to attract the best people . . .

And Ms. Pickles also enlisted some friends from her many foreign travels . . .

If all the hoopla should for some reason work, it will demonstrate once again why Louisiana is still at the bottom of the dung-heap . . . always a decade or so benind the learning curve . . .
A smarter group would just say no to Johnny Wannabe . . .

For those of us actually living in the Gret State [not impo'tent foreigners] especially at this critical time, it doesn't make a bit of sense to replace Mary Landrieu. We're gonna have a Democrat majority in Congress come January, and likely a Democratic President, and Mary has a solid 12 year tenure in that majority. Why in the world would any sane people want to trade that in for a wannabe politician who's so confused he rarely knows what day it is.
Kennedy backs off his attack ad claim- NOLA.com

Nobody's perfect, even Mary, but she's got what Louisiana needs right now - and if they were honest, even the local GOPers would agree . . .

As for Pickles, well, she's sweet, but she's on a short string with the Bushies herself . . .
